LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
St. Louis Board Bill 180 (https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/internal-apps/legislative/upload/boardbill/BB180-wd15.pdf) is a bill that would change the law in the City of St. Louis to allow individuals to possess up to two ounces of marijuana without the threat of prosecution from local authorities. Additionally, it would prevent the police from using marijuana as reasonable cause for a search, as well as amending the way the City of St. Louis regulates marijuana policies.
Several Aldermen are on the fence regarding this bill. Particularly, the Alderman from the 13th, 14th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th wards. If you live in these wards and support this bill, it is imperative that you let your Alderman know by contacting them and voicing your support of BB180. There is a public hearing on BB180 at 6:30 pm on February 13th at St. Louis City Hall in room 208.
